Silly Girl

Since I don't write in a journal, and I don't have the best memory, I needed to write this down before I forgot about it.

Mikayla is silly, for lack of a better word. She has the ability to make others laugh. Today in Sacrament meeting she decided while we were singing "Put your Should to the Wheel" that the song would be better with actions. So she sang and acted out the entire Hymn, which made it difficult for me to keep a straight face while signing. Seriously you need to read the words to that Hymn and just imagine the variety of actions that go along with the song. In fact, during the last verse..

Then work and watch and fight and pray
With all your might and zeal.
Push evry worthy work along;
Put your shoulder to the wheel.

Mikayla inspired me to join in, and I have to say... without any prior practice, we were definitely on to something great.

Don't worry, I'm not a completely terrible parent, I wouldn't let her act out the sacrament hymn.

It sounds like Mikayla must get that from her Mother!!! I remember you doing actions to songs too! Although it wasn't at church!!

I have to agree with Jennifer...like mother, like daughter! My personal favorite were your actions to the Jennifer Warnes song, "When the Feeling Comes Around". Next time your in town you will have to do an encore performance :D I love you!
