St. George and Zions National Park

Labor Day weekend we decided to go down to St. George. The girls and I have been down several times, but this was Bret and Kyles first time this year. We always love to visit St. George, we stay at Grandma and Grandpa Smiths house, they have a big screen tv and a swimming pool (all the necessities) so we want for nothing. We always have a nice time relaxing by the pool, reading books, watching movies, playing games and of course eating lots and lots.

After we got to St. George Bret and I decided to take the kids to Zions National Park, it's only about an hour drive from St. George and the kids have never been there. It was totally worth it.

We went on the hike to the Emerald Pools and the kids wanted to hike all the way to the highest pool. It was beautiful and the water was perfect.

Bret and the kids on the way up to the highest pool.

This was at the 2nd pool. If you look really close you can see that water was falling on us. It was slippery, but it was so nice and cool even though it was over 100 degrees that day.

However, the pictures below is actually what the kids really wanted to do. Every morning when they woke up the first thing they would ask was when they could go swimming.

I didn't get a picture of Kyle in the pool. He is a late sleeper, usually not getting up before the crack of noon, so sadly he isn't in any pool pictures. I am in some, but I made sure to leave those out to spare the eyes of my readers. We had such a fun time in St. George and Zions National Park, hopefully next year we will be able to see even more of Zions.
