Sadie loves volleyball. She went to a volleyball camp this year at Westlake and loved/hated it. She loved playing and learning how to improve her skills, but she hated how tired she was after each day. I think anyone would be tired playing volleyball every day from 8am to 4pm. So this year she wanted to play volleyball on a team. She was worried about trying out for the school team, because she has anxiety about missing school, so we signed her up for a req team with the Lehi Legacy Center, and so far she loves it.
Here she is before her first game. She wasn't happy about the picture, she felt "weird" since she didn't have her hair done or any make-up on. Seriously? Whose child is this?

Volleyball
Sadly we couldn't get any pictures of Sadie's game with my camera. It doesn't like taking pictures in large, poorly lit rooms, go figure. Her team did pretty good, the first game they were a little shy, but they woke up after that. Sadie definitely outshines them all. We were all impressed watching her play, she definitely had the loudest cheering section, thankfully we didn't embarrass her too much :)
It's really fun to watch something other than soccer, we're a little soccered out (I swear that is a word, if you don't believe me, try watching 3 soccer games a week plus 2 practices, and see if that word makes it into your vocabulary).

Yipee Sadie! I love volleyball--good for her! And yes, I'm convinced soccered out is in the dictionary...right? :) If not, I think it's in the New Eagle Mountain Dictionary!
