About a week ago, my mother-in-law decided that she couldn't stand my furniture any more and decided that since I have been so patient with my used furniture for so long she surprised me with a shopping day at Ashley Furniture!! I have never had new furniture, everything I own is either from when I was a kid, for example the water bed Bret and I sleep on (yes Melissa I know, the 1970's are calling and they want their bed back), my kids furniture which we found either at garage sales or from neighbors that bought something new, and all the sofa's which we have recieved, also from neighbors or friends. So this was a treat!!
The pictures don't do my new sofa and love seat justice, so I invite you all to come and sit on my new furniture, they feel great!

I just want you all to know that I sat on "the couches" today and, they're fabulous. Seriously they look and feel so nice. I thought for a second about spending my kids' swing set money on couches, but then I remembered that summer is coming and they'll be home for three months straight .... And by the way, I like your water bed. It reminds me of my grandparents.
