For those of you who watch Seinfeld you will understand this post. I have become the worst couch Nazi!!! I noticed I was not allowing my kids to sit on my new couches. Kylee and Samantha would happily jump on the new couch, and in my opinion, appear to be to bouncy, and I would say "no sitting on the new couch", Kyle was holding a bowl of cereal and walking in the general direction of the couch and I would say "stay away from the new couch", Sadie and Mikayla were running and sat down to hard on the couches and I said "if you can't be careful around my new couches then you need to stay away from them"!!
I have really become the worst couch Nazi around! I told the kids this morning that they are more important to me then the new couches, and that I would try and be less insane. Sadie was cute, she said "I understand mom, you've never had anything this nice so you really want to take care of it." I thought that was cute, but I reminded her that she is more important and I would rather have her comfortable in her home then nervous to touch mom's new couches.
I don't know how people survive in a home filled with new furniture?!?!

I love Seinfeld! I laugh about your new couch, because about 4 years ago we got new furniture. And as soon as all the furniture was delivered and put in place, I sat everyone down well,only Katie, and Kelsi were living here at the time, but I told them ,there will be no eating, no laying around and definately NO FEET on the couches. Now we all eat on them, lay on them and stick our feet on them. I don't even remember when it became ok to do that.
